About the role Title– Security Supervisor Pay Rate – £16.52 Location – Wood St, Birkenhead, Wirral CH62 Shift Timings – Monday to Friday You will be working as a Security Supervisor in a high-profile manufacturing site with subsequent high demands on a consistently high level of service delivery in a very demanding and dynamic environment. For this role, you will be required to manage and motivate a team of security officers and agency officers across the site. The right candidate must be confident in their ability to lead, provide security support and guidance to the General Services Manager.Your main responsibilities may include: Successfully improve and maintain performance in Security service on site, whilst helping to reducing service costs, to achieve budget / forecast. Become the service line expert for excellent service to both internal and external clients. Support in the Management of Security equipment capabilities (i.e., alarms, access control, CCTV etc) for our client, ensuring existing equipment is maintained to the highest standards and ensure all issues are report to Unilever site services and safety, for a fix to be arranged. Drive excellence in operational delivery to always maximise operational excellence. Support the development and training of a competent team to deliver a consistent service ensuring effective leadership and guidance in all activities. Manage the team and operation proactively controlling, developing, planning, and facilitating changes driven by a constantly evolving busy site, to ensure the service moves forward ensuring the team engage and embrace change. To succeed in this role, you will need the following: SIA License is essential. Previous experience in a similar role is essential. Basic knowledge of computers. 5-year checkable work/career history. Physically fit to undertake given tasks. Possess the ability to work under pressure, prioritising workload and remaining well organised. Communicate well and demonstrate a pleasant, polite, efficient, caring and friendly service to customers and clients in all areas of service. Good customer service skills The ability to work well as a team, or individually.
