Job Description

Sales Administrator / Purchase Coordinator / Internal Sales Engineer is required to join a leading hydraulics distributor. The Sales Administrator / Purchase Coordinator / Internal Sales Engineer will be responsible for processing quotations and scheduling the Sales Engineers' work, providing support to the management team, liaising with customers and the engineering team, and generating some leads. Full product training will be provided. The successful Sales Administrator / Purchase Coordinator / Internal Sales Engineer will ideally have experience working in a coordinator, scheduling, pricing, invoicing, or similar customer service role in engineering.  Package £27K–£28K 40-hour working week Pension Additional Benefits 25 days holiday, including Bank Holidays  The Sales Administrator / Purchase Coordinator / Internal Sales Engineer Role Coordinate the work, assignments, and scheduling of the Service Engineers, while assisting with management organisation. Liaise with various technical departments across multiple sites worldwide for assistance with technical enquiries from distributors. Configure hydraulic products, such as cylinders, motors, hydraulic presses, actuators, and industrial power packs, to specification. Contact customers over the phone to book work and plan schedules for engineers. Assist in generating quotes for hydraulic repairs, maintenance agreements, and service work. Raise purchase orders (POs) and handle invoicing. Investigate and resolve disputes, such as incorrect parts shipped, short shipments, or damaged deliveries. Chase spare parts orders, approve supplier invoices, and book goods in. Manage on-call rotas and coordinate annual leave for the engineering team. Liaise with various engineering departments for technical and administrative support. Full training provided.  Sales Administrator / Purchase Coordinator / Internal Sales Engineer Requirements Good IT skills, including experience with Excel and Outlook. Experience working in a coordinator, scheduling, or customer service role within an engineering environment. Proven ability to maintain good professional working relationships withexisting and new customers. Experience as a Service Coordinator, Sales Coordinator, Service&Sales Coordinator, Technical Engineer, Sales Administrator, Inventory Controller, or similar. Familiarity with systems like Oracle, SAP (SAP Hana 4, module SD), or similar would be advantageous. Willing to commute to Torquay.
