JOB–Quality Engineer / Metrology Specialist LOCATION – Gloucestershire TERM- Permanent SALARY – up to 35,000 - 50,000 per annum (dependant on experience). We are looking for a Quality Engineer, CMM Programmer or Metrology Specialist on a permanent basis in the West Drayton area with experience ofmachined parts. Your main duties will be assisting with the day-to-day activities of the Quality engineering and Manufacturing team. The Quality Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: 2 years’ experience or more in a similar Quality Engineering, CMM or Metrology focused position. Knowledge of various Quality Inspection / metrology tools and techniques Understanding of ISO9001 or similar QMS standards. Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written Familiarity with the auditing process. Have previous experience working in a similar machined parts manufacturer. Excellent organizational and planning skills. Ability to work independently. Experience in customer / client focused communication – advantageous. The Quality Engineer role will involve: Assisting the Management within the business on Metrology questions and responsibilities. Advise on best methods of Quality Inspection / Engineering. Carry out inspection of various components.
