Duties and responsibilities of the Project Manager •    Manage projects as directed, supervising and monitoring the work undertaken by the staff, ensuring the quality and safety standards are adhered to •    Prepare project plans, and monitor performance against this, including  all hours, materials, consumables, equipment to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget •    Conduct regular progress reporting, on the completion of projects. •    Monitor levels of, and carry out the purchasing of consumables, plant and materials to support projects to ensure continuity •    Making sure that all the aims and objectives of the project are met, keeping in regular communication with the customers to make sure expectations are meet •    Put in place good standards of housekeeping and organisations across all sites •    Travel to sites/customers to survey work required and take ownership of the quotation process and any project required •    Make sure any projects have the correct SHE and quality document is prepared and implemented before the work starts, and that this is read and understood by all the team, and safety working procedures are applied  •    Comply with company health and safety at all times •    Carry out any other duties required within the role •    To ensure that any required lifetime quality records (LTQR's) are completed, retained  and collated to form quality packs upon project completion •    This project manager role is very hands on Qualifications and requirement for the Project Manager: •    Excellent communication skills, including spoken and written English •    Minimum 5 years experience within either the marine, Oil&Gas, Nuclear industry•    Be able to travel, as required for the role •    Full UK driving licence •    Must have good organisation skills •    Be able to interpret technical drawings, schematic parts manuals and diagrams associated technical data&specifications  •    Must have project management experience This vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical who have been appointed to act as the recruitment consultancy for this role.
