Job Title:Production Supervisor Location:Witney Thorn Baker has teamed up with a market-leading Timber Frame manufacturer who are looking for a Production Supervisor. They are always pushing for better ways to make Off-Site Manufacturing more efficient, better quality, more cost effective and make net carbon homes a reality. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will be a key part of their Manufacturing Team, responsible for optimisation of the state-of-the-art production facility, working at the forefront of the timber frame industry, including running a zero-labour wall line with8 robot cells and a one-of-a-kind automated floor cassette line. Employee Assistance Programme Career development and progression Your Responsibilities: Deliver, through your team, the production plan with pre agreed targets from the Manufacturing or Factory Management team: Outputlevels, Quality, Health&Safety (including employee welfare), Customer satisfaction, and Budget Report timeously to the Manufacturing/Factory Management team any risk of achieving the above with suggested solutions to mitigate each risk. Ensure employee resource and working patterns are matched in terms of skills and numbers to short- and long-termproduction plan. Build effective working relationships with relevant departments, within and without the factory to maximise delivery of output levels. Full job description available upon request Required Skills: Demonstrate thorough knowledge of health, safety and environmental practices within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrate ability for production&resource planning and productivity within a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of using ERP system. Proficient in Microsoft office (particularly spreadsheets). Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S and continuous improvement Knowledge of Quality Management Systems in manufacturing environment.
