What You’ll Be Doing as aProcurement Specialist: Sourcing and Managing Suppliers: Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring resilience and value in the supply chain. Strategic Procurement: Drive category management strategies to optimize procurement across various product and service categories. Negotiation and Cost Management: Oversee purchase orders with suppliers, ensuring alignment with project timelines, inventory needs, and budgets. Process Improvement: Develop procurement best practices to enhance efficiency, transparency, and compliance. Supplier Risk Management: Conduct supplier risk assessments and ensure all relevant regulations are met. Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to improve procurement systems and strategies. What You Need to Succeed: Procurement Experience: Knowledge or experience using MRP systems (Epicor is a plus!). Communication Skills: Strong ability to collaborate with both internal and external teams. Commercial Awareness: A sharp eye for cost-efficiency and high-quality standards. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Time Management: Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
