SENIOR / PRINCIPAL ARCHITECT MANCHESTER (Hybrid) Up to£55,000 per annum + excellent benefits package Overview This is an excellent opportunity with one of the largest and fastest growing multi-disciplined consultancies in the world.  From their large network of UK offices, their design teams support a variety of landmark projects across a broad range of sectors. Their Architectural teams provide innovative design solutions for large and complex projects within the defence, nuclear, and other government departments (Ministry of Defence, Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, Ministry for Education, DeFRA, Government Property Agency, etc.). Due to their strong and growing pipeline of work, they are currently looking to strengthen their Architectural team with a number of appointments, including a Senior or Principal Architect to lead small (approx. £3M to £5M) architectural and multi-discipline projects, primarily within the Defence, Nuclear and Government/Local Authority sectors. The projects will have a strong northern regional focus, but with opportunities to work nationally and internationally for UK Government clients. About you You must be a qualified Architect with a minimum of 5 years post Part 3 experience.  You must have good design and technical skills, together with demonstrable experience of delivering buildings and facilities for public sector projects.  Ideally this will include some experience of working on projects within the UK defence, nuclear or other highly regulated sectors You will have experienceof delivering to BIM level 2 (and beyond) including being a competent Revit user. You will also have the ability to work at a high level, employing a range of drawing, modelling and interpersonal skills to engage, influence and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders. Due to the sensitive nature of some of the work, candidates must be willing and able to obtain suitable security clearance. Candidates who hold current security clearance will be at an advantage.
