This position is to manage the Engineering team, ensuring production runs to maximum efficiency, whilst working on planned preventative maintenance. Dutiesinclude; *Effectively lead the team to maximise performance allocating all maintenance tasks throughout the team. *Carry out emergency repairs as necessary, keeping 'down time 'to a minimum. *Perform work out of hours to avoid disruption to production when required. *Identify and solve day-to-day maintenance problems. *Ensure PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) schedules are performed as required. *Accurately complete all documentation in a timely fashion. *Accurately create and update relevant SOP's as necessary. *Perform duties as required from the maintenance non-urgent job list and ensure completed in line with set targets. *Maintain the building and machinery to improve quality, and cost effectiveness. *Oversee and co-ordinate the installation of new equipment. *Order spare parts and services as required whilst keeping costs to a minimum.
