Job Title: Picker and Packer - Afternoon Shift Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire Pay Rate:£12.44 per hour (increasing to approximately £14.00 after permanent placement) Shift: Monday to Friday, 14:00 – 22:00 (Afternoon Shift) Contract Type: Temp to Perm Hours: 37.5 hours per week (30 minutes unpaid break each day) Job Description: We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Picker and Packer to join our team in Wellingborough. The ideal candidate will be working the afternoon shift, ensuring that our customers receive their orders in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner. Key Responsibilities: Picking and packing orders with a high level of accuracy Working effectively as part of a small team of 3 people on the afternoon shift Ensuring all items are properly handled and checked for quality Meeting productivity targets while maintaining quality standards Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Working at height when necessary Reporting any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor Key Skills&Requirements: Previous experience in picking and packing is essential Strong numeracy skills to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently when required Excellent reliability and punctuality High level of English (both written and verbal) is an advantage VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) licence is preferred but not required Ability to work at height Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment A good attitude towards teamwork and collaboration Interview required prior to placement Additional Benefits: Starting pay of£12.44 per hour with the potential for an increase to £14.00 upon permanent placement 30p coffee available in the break room Low turnover rate with a friendly and supportive team Stable Monday to Friday schedule Temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term potential How to Apply: If you’re a motivated and reliable individual with a passion for efficiency and accuracy, we would love to hear from you.
