Plant Operator£25,000 - £26,000 per year + A huge list of benefits including private health and dental care plans, enhanced maternity and paternity, gym memberships, lifestyle accounts with employer contributions and much more!  Job Description We are currently seeking a hard-working and motivated Plant Operator to join one of the biggest names in the Waste Water and Waste Management industry.  The role will be based on site in Peterborough and the working hours are: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4.45pm.  As a Plant Operator, you will support the team with emptying trailers of resin and backfilling them,ensuring the process is carried out correctly and in a safe and efficient manner.  You will coordinate with team members on different docks, to synchronise the use of the air flow system to move the resin.  As part of this role, you will also receive chemical deliveries whilst following all Health&Safety regulations and, you will work between plant and maintenance to resolve Equipment or Plant issues.  The role will involve a variety of manual handling, department housekeeping and, quality control, as well as responsibility for arranging container movements, shunting or arranging shunting of trailers, updating plant rack inventory and providing general support to the rest of the team with theweekly completion of Zurich PSSR inspections.   Requirements: Natural troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.  Good understanding of health and safety regulations. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
