Job Title : PCB Technologist (12 month Fixed Term Contract) Salary : Circa 40,000 depending on experience  Location : Stevenage or Bolton Dynamic (hybrid) working : 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification Security Clearance : British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. You'll be working in a supportive environment alongside Technical Experts to support and develop a varied portfolio of electronic design and manufacturing technologies. This will requireyou to: Support the development and evaluation of new processes and equipment at a national and international level. Working collaboratively with internal and external partners/suppliers, visiting as necessary including international travel Understand materials, characteristics and processes of circuit card assembly/printed circuit board manufacture and how we define them for use in our products to survive in harsh environments Assess printed circuit board fabrication and circuit card assembly processes via laboratory work and work with PCB suppliers and MBDA manufacturing centres Support theadoption of agreed methodologies including generating documented standards within national and international teams Participate in failure analysis of circuit card assemblies at component and board level As part of MBDA's Electronic Engineering function, PCB Technologists are responsible for providing a technical support service for all internal programs in the UK and with non UK teams developing new technologies across all areas of PCB design, manufacture and assembly.
