Job Title: Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3) Location: (N20 0ET) Salary:£26,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience) Hours: Full-Time, Permanent About Us: We are a well-established and welcoming nursery located in (N20 0ET), dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. Our team is passionate about early years education, supporting children's development through play, creativity, and tailored learning opportunities. We are currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team. Key Responsibilities: * Provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for the children in the setting. * Implement daily routines and activities that support children's developmental progress in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. * Build and maintain strong partnerships with parents, caregivers, and colleaguesto ensure consistent support for children's learning and well-being. * Observe, assess, and record children's development, ensuring individual needs are met and planning next steps accordingly. * Promote positive behaviour, independence, and confidence in children. * Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and stimulating, adhering to all health and safety regulations. * Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture, supporting colleagues and sharing best practices. Requirements: * Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare Qualification (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent). *A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to delivering the highest quality of care and education. * Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and experience implementing it in a nursery setting. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to buildstrong relationships with children, parents, and team members. * A patient, caring, and proactive approach to working with young children. * Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan and adapt activities to meet the needs of individual children. * Understanding of safeguardingand child protection policies and procedures. * First Aid and Safeguarding certificates are desirable (training can be provided).
