About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and motivated individual to join an established firm as a Corporate Transactions Manager. As a Corporate Transactions Manager, you will work closely with senior leadership to help drive the growth and success of the team. You will take a lead role in overseeing the quality of work across the division, ensuring exceptional client service, mentoring the team, and fostering an inclusive environment. With a strong pipeline of opportunities for 2024 and beyond, this position offers exposure to high-profile clients and a chance to work on confidential and complex corporate transactions.
Additionally, there is the potential to pursue the CF qualification, if appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
Leading and managing a team on a variety of corporate transactions, including business sales, acquisitions, due diligence, valuations, and strategic planning.
Managing client relationships, maintaining a deep understanding of their business needs, and identifying opportunities for further service provision.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal teams and external clients, acting as anambassador for the firm.
Providing essential management support, ensuring the team delivers to the highest professional standards, while meeting deadlines and focusing on productivity, fee income, and client service.
Managing workloads and helping guide the team to meet both client and business needs.
Participating in ongoing training to further develop both technical expertise and personal skills.
What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with the following experience and qualifications:
Essential:
ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
Significantpost-qualified experience within an accountancy practice.
Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients and lead a team effectively.
Strong client-focused commercial and technical expertise.
Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Demonstrable ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively, with a proactive and “can-do” attitude.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable:
Experience within Corporate Finance (including company sales, acquisitions, due diligence, valuations, etc.).
Background inworking with an external client base.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and email systems.
