As a Management Accountant you will be responsible for a portfolio of schools and will work closely with principals and head teachers to prepare and analyse budgets, prepare management accounts, and identify cost saving opportunities. Description Prepare financial statements and budget reports Perform cost analyses and suggest cost-saving measures Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes Comply with financial regulations and standards Facilitate internal audits and address any discrepancies Collaborate with other departments to improve financial procedures Provide financial advice to management to aid decision-making Contribute to the development of the team and the organisation as a whole Profile Demonstrable experience in a Management Accountant role Multi Academy Trust or Charity experience would be desirable Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills, both written and verbal A proactive approach to problem-solving Job Offer Full time and permanent role + Paying£38,626 - £41,511 + Office based with 1 day working from home per week + Term time only hours will be considered + Generous pension + Excellent company benefits
