Job Title: Mobile HGV Technician Location: Reading&Surrounding Areas Salary:£41,000 per annum About the Role: We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Mobile HGV Technician to join our team, covering Reading and the surrounding areas. In this role, you’ll be responsible for providing on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repair for a range of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) while delivering top-quality service. This is an ideal position for a qualified technician looking for the freedom and variety of a mobile role with a competitive salary and no shift work. Key Responsibilities: Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HGVs at various locations.Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently and effectively. Provide breakdown support, roadside assistance, and on-site repairs as needed. Complete job cards, service records, and documentation accurately and promptly. Communicate effectively with customers and dispatch to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.Requirements: Experience: Proven experience in HGV maintenance, diagnostics, and repair. Qualifications: Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance. License: Must hold a valid driving license with no more than 6 penalty points. Skills:Proficient with diagnostic tools, with a solid understanding of HGV systems and components.
