Material Movement Operator – Sidcup
Salary + Bonus
Contract – 6 MonthFix Term Contract
What you become part of:
Sidcup Operations plays a pivotal role within the CCEP network, producing around 50% of the GB SKU portfolio. The site offers a one stop shop to the GB Market with a range of packages that are single sourced from Sidcup, such as Aseptic productsand the wide portfolio range of small cans. Across their 10 manufacturing lines the site can produce 360,000 cans per hour, 132,000 PET bottles per hour and 48,000 Glass bottles. There are currently around 270 employees across Manufacturing, QESH and Engineering, experience here can lead to excellent career opportunities both in Sidcup and further afield across other GB sites and Pan-European locations.
What to expect:
Manufacturing area
Operate to agreed level on specific machine types within the manufacturing&process operation- Depals, labellers, Packers, Palletisers&Wrappers, pouch loading on
As required perform machine start-ups, change-overs and shutdowns in line with site standards.
Perform normal machine operations and fault-finding and escalate through the appropriate process until fixed to ensure minimal impact on line utilisation and availability and product quality.
Material replenishment
Ensure materials are available ready for use and returned correctly in process in line with our material management systems.
Monitor and control material use to meet work area yield targets for the shift through the use of the material management systems.
Maintenance and hygiene Execution
Perform asset care activities in line with role(Clean and hygiene tasks)
Escalate known performance issues and support technician with relevant breakdown tasks
Maintain good standards of housekeeping to ensure agreed areas are clean and tidy to the standard outlined in the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), this will include all aspects associated with good micro practices
Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and other analytical tools if require
Responsibility and Sustainability Quality
Conduct QESH checks to ensure that product and equipment remains within specification and escalate any non-conformance immediately
Comply with Stock Checks/Held Stock procedures as required Site Health and Safety
Follow Site Safety best practices to ensure safe-working for self and to protect the safety of colleagues to demonstrate zero accident behaviour
Ensure own personal hygiene meets requirements of food industry
Carry out all pre-use inspections on machinery to ensure they are safe to operate
Environment
Highlight any leaks and spillages
Escalate and reduce possible pest ingress
Ensure waste is segregated in line with site policy
Control energy usage in area and highlight potential saving
Skills&Essentials:

Ability to work under pressure
Able to work as part of a team or alone, with little supervision
