A dedicated role for Project sourcing from a clearly nominated supplier pool, with all supporting Product Assets. The Project Merchandiser will manage project range and stock levels across multiple locations by appropriately sourcing products to suit the client/audience then raising purchase orders and tracking their deliveries ensuring the right stock arrives at the right place at the right time, whilst maintaining an accurate PO Book to provide the rest of the business with the correct and most up to date information. Core Responsibilities:·Work alongside the Projects team from the onset of tenders, ·Working alongside the Sales and Ops teams to manage the Project Tracker ·Lead the weekly Pipeline meeting to notify all key stakeholders of each Project’s progress confirming lead time and stock availability. ·Managing the Project PO book ensuring POs are raised, planned for and arrive in line with the project's critical path. ·Grow and develop close cooperation and relationships with internal stakeholders, project&ops teams and external suppliers·Enhance the UK nationwide supply chain, strengthening and focusing with key suppliers ·Engage in continuous dialogue with key suppliers ·Provide up-to-date weekly stock and sales analysis by updating and managing the weekly business merchandise reports. ·Assisting in updating the department's monthly KPI deck. ·Work towards continuous improvement. ·Develop a culture of superior customer service. ·Work to the relevant legislation and policies and keep abreast of developments. ·Follow all internal processes. About you- * Proven experience in a Merchandising role. * Prior furniture industry knowledge * Exceptional skills in managing a heavy workload and conflicting demands, whilst consistently producing high-quality work to tight deadlines * Experience liaising with colleagues from operational to senior director level * First-class communication skills, personal confidence, and the ability to influence others * Intermediate to advanced Excel, Word, MS Windows applications. * Knowledge of ERP systems is beneficial * Meticulous written and verbal communication skills All applications are dealt with in the strictest of confidence.
