Job Title: Intervention Support Worker
Location: Reddish Hall School, Stockport, Greater Manchester
Salary: £20,906.25 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for an Intervention Support Worker to join our close-knit team at Reddish Hall School, part of Acorn Education.
About the Role
The primary purpose of the Intervention Support Worker roleat Reddish Hall School is to provide high-quality, targeted support to pupils with complex educational needs, communication difficulties, and challenging behaviours.
The successful candidate will have a passion for working with pupils who have a range of needs, including attachment difficulties,developmental trauma and barriers to learning. They will be instrumental in helping the school develop its therapeutic approach to supporting pupils and enabling them to achieve successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality support on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Plan, deliver,monitor, and provide feedback on small group/1:1 interventions in coordination with SEND department and school staff
Assist with the testing of pupils
Where appropriate, check and contribute to home-school contact books, taking direction from the class teacher
To support pupils in the wider school setting when necessary
Qualifications Required
GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or equivalent
