We are working with a world-renowned international drink spirits company who are looking for a Temporary Management Accountant who will provide accounts support to the Finance Controller and the wider finance team and to start ASAP. This will be a fully office based role, 40 hours per week from 9.00am-5:30pm: Key responsibilities Posting of accounting document into the accounting system Checking, coding, and posting supplier invoices into the accounting system Performing Bank (including Merchant) reconciliations Perform monthly Intercompany account reconciliations where needed Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations Produce reports which support the decision-making process for department heads (inc. Finance) and Pernod Ricard in a timely manner Liaising with Finance Controller to produce management accounts, including accruals and prepayments, and report on performance to the Financial Planning and Commercial Team Support FP&A Team with annual budgeting and monthly forecast process across responsible area Assist the Finance team with day-to-day transactional processing, bank payments and any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the department as directed by the Finance Controller for other entities across the group Production of Quarterly VAT Returns Ensure accurate and timely close of quarter/month end Support the load of Financials into Group Reporting Tool and provide answers queries Support the Financial Controller with the integration of entities and streamline processes. Business Partnering with the teams to ensure they are aware of financial results and support any queries from them and feed back to the finance teams. Experience  Strong communicator, excellent verbal, and written communication skills Part Qualified studying towards a recognised professional accountancy qualification Experience using ERP finance system: Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle etc. Possess commercial and business acumen Planning and organising own workload and possess the ability to multi-task Excellent time management skills including working to deadlines whilst remaining calm under pressure Accurate and detail conscious Excellent IT skills including Excel and Microsoft packages
