The Person This role would suit a newly qualified of part qualified management accountant ideally from the IT or Telecoms sector.Must have strong management accouting experience including financial reporting and variance analysis. * Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Excel; experience with Sage Line 50 is advantageous. * Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders. * Proactive and results-driven, with a focus on continuous improvement. Key Requirements * Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements. * Produce variance analysis reports and provide insights into financial performance. * Assist in the preparation of annual and monthly budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with company objectives. * Reconcile key balance sheet accounts and resolve any discrepancies. * Support the Finance Manager with year-end audit processes and statutory reporting. * Monitor and analyze costs, identifying areas for efficiency improvements. * Provide financial support to department managers, aiding in their decision-making processes. * Maintain and improve internal financial controls and processes. * Handle ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as required.
