Apply now for an immediate response!  Scantec Recruitment are working in partnership with a fantastic manufacturing business at one of their regional sites in Selby, to assist in their search for a Maintenance Engineer. Ideally electrical Bias or Multi Skilled.  Your role will be to maintain and repair a range of manufacturingmachinery on two main production lines, as well as looking after the general building and facilities.   Hours of Work:  Days, Monday to Friday  7.30am - 4pm   Occasional weekend work in peak periods (time back in lieu)  Multi Skilled Engineer – Key role responsibilities:   Carry out repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe, timely and professional manner  Assist in the development of planned preventative maintenance schedules (PPM).  Carry out PPM schedules as necessary and planned work orders as required.  Operate maintenance Fork Lift Truck and Elevated Working Platform as required.  Assist visiting specialist engineers when necessary.  Report breakdown root cause, equipment faults and concerns to Packhouse Manager.  Plan / prioritize workload to support production and ensure efficient use of working time.  Assist with the moving, installation, repositioning of machines and equipment  Ensure the site has adequate spares in line with set agreed stock levels  Ensure contractor control for all engineering tasks is correctly managed  Ensure all Engineering risk assessments are completed.  Maintain and onsite list of capital spend required for continual improvement.     Experience, Knowledge&Skills:  We’re seeking an experienced Engineer, with Good IT skills – competent in Excel/Word/ and Power point.  Ideally 18th Edition electrical qualification&good mechanical aptitude.
