An established pharmaceutical business has a new requirement for a Maintenance Engineer to join the business. The company is an award-winning pharmaceutical business established for over 50 years and employs over 5000 people worldwide. They have a new facility in Leicestershire where at the moment it employs circa to 75 people, but they are looking to expand on this in 2024 seriously. The post offers double days with an attractive salary circa to£50k Overtime paid at a premium, 37.5 contracted hours a week, flexible working, a Company Bonus, and much more. Reporting to the supervisor you will be joining a team of 4 Engineers. Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer: You will be responsible for providing support to the manufacturing unit The MaintenanceEngineer will deliver all maintenance activities (reactive and preventative), ensuring all operate efficiently and are maintained in line with Business and Regulatory compliance. You will also support Operations in New Equipment installations as well as maintaining existing Production Equipment Using Siemens S7 PLC's and building management systems Support Pharma Services with the completion of Planned&Unplanned maintenance activities Support the projects team with change control activities Requirements: Apprentice trained - City&Guilds in Electrical or HNC qualified in electrical or electronic engineering is essential Post-apprenticeship experience in a maintenance environment Background in a highly regulated industry is essential (Pharm, Healthcare, FMCG) Experienced multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias Experience using document control/maintenance management systems Experienced working with Siemens S7 preferred, not essential Some facilities experience is highly advantageous Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office packages (including Word, Excel, and Outlook) In return, you will receive an excellent salary and benefits package: Salary is£50k Double days - 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm M-F Bonus Scheme Healthcare - this includes family and covers dental, healthcare, and eyes Pension Contribution Long Service Awards 34 days holiday Free Car Parking Working in incredible facilities Additional holidays for moving house Enhanced maternitypay scheme Occupation sick pay scheme Life Cover Ongoing training and development
