Technical Lead Location: Remote (UK Bases) Permanent opportunity Job Summary: Purview are currently recruiting a Technical Lead for a very exciting tech start up company. You will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the development team, ensuring the successful delivery of software projects. You will utilize your expertise in Dotnet and Python to lead the design, development, and implementation of robust and scalable applications. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring developers, and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards. This role will be for the right candidate an opportunity to become a future CTO and have your say on the way to business unfolds and the tech stack is built. Key Responsibilities: * Technical Leadership: * Lead and mentor a team of software developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. * Oversee the technical aspects of projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements. * Project Management: * Coordinate with project managers to plan, schedule, and deliver projects on time and within budget. * Participate in project scoping, estimation, and planning activities. * Development: * Design, develop, and maintain applications using Dotnet, Dotnet core, Elastic Beanstalk and Python. * Ensure the quality of code through code reviews, testing, and adherence to coding standards. * Implement best practices for software development, including DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. * Collaboration: * Work closely with stakeholders, including product owners, architects, and other teams, to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. * Facilitate communication and collaboration between the development team and other departments. * Innovation and Improvement: * Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. * Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive initiatives to enhance development efficiency and product quality. Qualifications: * Education: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus. * Experience: * 7+ years of experience in software development. * Proven experience as a Technical Lead or similar role. * Strong experience with Dotnet (.NET Core) Elastic Beanstalk, and Python. * Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. * Familiarity with Node core solutions * Skills: * Excellent leadership and mentoring skills. * Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. * Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. * Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git).
