Job Description Pre– Assessment Nurse We have fantastic opportunities for enthusiastic Pre-Assessment Nurses to work within our Pre–Assessment department at Rivers Hospital.   Rivers Hospital is part of Ramsay Health Care UK, one of the leading providers of NHS and private patients’ services in England. We arebased on the Herts&Essex boarder and is easily accessible from London and the Home Counties. The hospital opened in 1992 and is equipped with the latest medical facilities for diagnosis and treatment, and has very high quality clinical standards. We are passionate about quality of care throughout the hospital. The Role The successful Nurse will undertake pre-operative assessment of patients awaiting elective surgery across all specialities.  The key focus is to ensure that patients are prepared physically and psychologically for a planned operative procedure, ensuring appropriate information provisionand identifying potential discharge concerns.
