Job Title: Site Manager Salary:£50k - £60k Location: Hatfield Our client are a long established Fit-Out and Refurbishment specialist with over 50 years of expertise. Based near Hatfield, they deliver high-quality services across a variety of sectors, including commercial, healthcare, heritage, and bespoke restoration projects. Role Description: The company are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their team. This is a full-time position, primarily based on-site at various locations in London and the Home Counties. The Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The Site Manager will also ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, building codes, and company policies. You will work closely with contracts managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery. Key Responsibilities • Manage and supervise daily site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard • Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and safety standards • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building regulations, and company procedures • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trades, and site teams • Communicate effectively with clients, contracts managers, and other stakeholders • Maintain detailed project records and reports • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control • Address any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process Qualifications and Skills • Proven experience as a Site Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry • Excellent organisational and time management skills • Strong leadership and team management abilities • Effective communication and interpersonal skills • Comprehensive knowledge of construction practices, building regulations, and health and safety standards • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications • Proficiency in project management software • Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field are desirable •Joinery/Carpentry background is highly desirable • SMSTS and First Aid certifications required • Valid Driving Licence required Benefits • Competitive salary based on experience • Opportunities for career development within a well-established, family-run business • Involvement in prestigious projects across multiple sectors • A collaborative and supportive work
