Principal Investigator (Interim) London Starting from£350 per day (negotiable, dependent on experience) An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a small and dynamic Internal Audit Investigations (IAI) team as a Principal Investigator. This interim role focuses on delivering both reactive and proactive fraud investigations, including whistleblowingcases. The Role The Principal Investigator will: Lead and manage fraud investigations from initiation to completion. Conduct proactive investigations to identify and mitigate potential risks. Ensure all investigative activities comply with relevant legislation and internal processes. Produce high-quality reports and outputs that support decision-making and potential legal action. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, presenting findings clearly and professionally. Candidate Requirements The ideal candidate will: Hold an Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist (ACFS) qualification or equivalent (e.g., PIP Level 2) or demonstrate a proven track record of success in a similar role. Have a strong understanding of investigative methods, legislation, and processes. Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate findings and recommendations clearly.
