Our GB Non Food Department is now hiring a Non Food German Speaking Officer to join our Head Office team. The infamous variety of the "Middle of Lidl" is one of the main reasons that our customers love to keep coming back week on week, and no week is ever the same! In this role, you will be responsible for the management of our Non Food product portfolio, which has key strategic importance to the success of the Lidl GB business. In this role you will need to have a passion for retail and products and a positive mindset in order to consistently achieve results withina fast-paced environment. What you'll do Translation of item and packaging information from German into English Perform market and commercial analysis to facilitate the creation of Non Food purchasing and ordering strategies including market observation, trend analysis and range planning Attending Ausmusterung (digitally and sometimes in person), to order quarterlyNon Food volumes Retail price setting to ensure competitive position, protection of goods in margin and sell through in line with KPIs Working with international stakeholders, in English and German to ensure excellent cooperation and customer focussed mindset What you'll need Fluency in German is essential A strong multi-tasker with excellent organisational and communication skills Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot errors Intermediate level Excel skills would be beneficial Strong numerical skills and the ability to interpret and analyse complex data A creative and forward-thinking commercial operator who can quickly adapt to our high-pressured business environment and uncertain market conditions Driving license is desirable What you'll receive 30 days holiday (pro rata) 10% in-store discount Enhanced family leave Pension scheme Plus,more of the perks you deserve *Includes an additional 10% non-contractual London Weighting allowance Disclaimer: due to the high volume of applications we receive, we reserve the right to close a vacancy earlier than the advertised date.
