This is an exceptional opportunity to join one of the most well respected and successful m&e contractor within the fast moving London construction market With a turnover due to exceed£300m + this long established and successful mechanical and electrical contractor is now looking to add valuable experience to its on site management team in the form of electrical and mechanical construction managers, to join one of the multiple major projects which are due to commence over the coming months. The work portfolio of this company focuses on commercial fit-out and new build along side various project types within the Data Centre market. A successful applicant will have a proven track record within the London market where they are able to prove longevity at their previous/currentcompanies. They will have a demonstratable recent record on managing large packages at site level where they are responsible for all aspects of the sub-contract and direct labour force. Formal qualifications are a must as well as relevant H&S certification, such as SMSTS experience working at Construction manager level on commercial new-build and fit-out schemes are preferable and ideally working on projects with a value of circa£10m+ you will be expected to work closely with the on-site project management team and multiple sub-contractors at any one-time Daily duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to; * On site coordination of subcontractors and direct labour * Implementation of project schedules andprogrammes to ensure project milestones and deadlines are adhered to * Re-programming on site installation schedules at site level where applicable * Responsible for implementation of Health and safety procedures * Managing Daily and weekly progress meetings * Producing risk assessments andRFI documents * Sign off completed installation works * Material procurement across the life cycle of the project * Coordinating Lifting operations with specialist teams * Build relationships both up and down the supply chain to ensure communication is enhanced * Report into the Project director Project locations – City of
