On behalf of our client we’re looking for a Learning Legacy Manager to lead the knowledge-sharing programme that captures and disseminates lessons learned, good practices, and technical insights to benefit the project team, supply chain, and wider industry.
The programme is already well established with central knowledge sharing portals, events, publications etc
As the Learning Legacy Manager, you’ll:
Develop and oversee a knowledge legacy programme, ensuring the delivery ofimpactful outputs.
Collaborate with internal teams, supply chain partners, and external stakeholders to generate and review content.
Manage publications, technical papers, and case studies, ensuring quality and relevance.
Organize and promote events to share insights with industry partners.
Lead the maintenance of the programme’s digital platforms, ensuring accessibility and engagement.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in knowledge management, stakeholder engagement, or communications.
Strong editorial skills to review and refine technical content.
Exceptional organizational andproject management skills.
Familiarity with tools like SharePoint, WordPress, and Microsoft Office 365.
A proactive, collaborative approach to working with diverse stakeholders.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-profile project by shaping how lessons learned and innovations are shared to raise standards across the industry.
It’s quite a niche role, part of the wider team, but has the freedom to continue to develop the capture of the legacy. You might be an accomplished Knowledge Manager from within transportation, Construction, Civil Engineering or associated professional bodies, or perhaps an engineer, used to authoring and publishing diverse papers. The project is so broad your interests may lie in civil engineering, rail, construction, sustainability, and environmental matters or health&Safety. You will however need to be a people person, that can work across the project and stakeholders ascertaining ideas that have made improvements across the project that should be explored, written up, peer reviewed and shared for legacy purposes. Examples include design approaches to water integrated landscapes, or how to protect wildlife during construction, or landscape led earthworks.
The role can be based in London or Birmingham, ( the salary on show is for London )
