Are you immediately available and interested in an interim Supply Chain Specialist role taking over the reins because of a European restructure, and promotion of the current incumbent? This role is offered ona 6-9 month interim contract, on a flexible hybrid working basis, either full time or part time across 5 days or condensed across 3-4 days As the Supply Chain Specialist, you'll report to the EMEA Supply Chain Manager, where you'll be responsible for the UK product supply operations. The company is headquartered in Europe and the Middle East and supplies FMCG luxury food products globally. As UK Supply Chain Specialist, you will support retail stores including two high profile retail concessions, a corporate gifting division, wholesale and also efulfilment operations for orders placed via our client's website. A key part of your role will be to analyse demand in the UK for product, packaging, instore promotional material and consumables, working with centralised procurement who in turn liaise with factories in Belgium to ensure stock is available at the right time to fulfil orders. As such, you'll will work closely with the logistics specialist in the UK to build robust partnerships with our client's 3rd party warehouses and road transport carriers. You'll need demand, supply and forecasting experience plus the ability to plan inventory into 3rd party warehousing and logisticsfor carrier deliveries. You'll need first-class communication and collaboration skills. You will be a team player used to working within a matrix pan European organisation. As well as demonstrating your career achievements, our client prefers degree-qualified candidates with excellent Excel skills.
