Key Responsibilities of a Highways Site Manager: * Oversee a variety of infrastructure projects, from initial planning through to completion, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met. * Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. * Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site staff, ensuring all work aligns with project specifications and quality standards. * Monitor project finances, including cost control, forecasting, and budget adherence. * Liaise with stakeholders to provide progress updates and resolve any project-related issues promptly. Skills and Qualifications * Proven experience as a Site Manager in highways, utilities, or construction projects. * Relevant certifications, such as SMSTS/SSSTS, NRSWA Supervisory, and First Aid. * Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage diverse teams. * Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities to thrivein a fast-paced environment. * Proficiency in project management tools and software, including Microsoft Office.
