The Fire Consultant's Role As a Fire Consultant, you will work closely with clients and internal teams to develop fire strategies, implement fire safety management systems, and review compliance with industry standards. Your expertise will support clients in meeting regulatory requirements and achieving exceptional fire safety standards. Key responsibilities include: Developing fire strategies from conception to completion, including fire safety inspections. Supporting clients in establishing fire safety management systems to British Standards. Reviewing and implementing requirements under the new building safety management bill. Delivering fire safety services across sectors including housing, construction, retail, and private healthcare. Conducting Fire Risk Assessments and preparing Fire Management Plans. Staying updated with industry standards and legislative changes. Acting as a resource for managers and staff regarding fire safety standards and initiatives.The Ideal Fire Consultant Will Have: Membership in the Institution of Fire Engineers (MIFireE). A relevant degree in fire safety or fire engineering. Proven experience in creating fire strategy solutions and designing fire management plans.
