We're looking for an Electrical Supervisor (Appointed Person) to join our Natural Resources Team based at our Mogden Treatment works site in Twickenham. Location : Twickenham, London Contract : Permanent, Full Time– flexible and part-time hours may be available if desired, just let us know Responsibilities As an Electrical Supervisor (Appointed Person) , you'll be working within our Natural Resources business unit, supporting our site teams in Electrical Supervision and Control of Electrical Isolation Workswithin the Mogden treatment works site, which is a project operating within the water industry. Your day to day will include: Undertake electrical switching operations; as well as the issue and cancelation of electrical Safety Document(s): ‘Isolation Certificate - Electrical' (ICE), ‘Permit toWork' (PTW), ‘Sanction to Test' (STT),&‘Limitation of Access' (LOA). Ensure that all Persons working under their control are competent for the task they are to perform. Assessing and appointing electrical Persons and recording this in the ‘Electrical Persons Register'. Ensuring all tools and equipment used are maintained in good condition, reporting any dangerous or unsafe conditions, occurrences, or accidents. Ensure the projects are running on time and keeping the projects within H&S regulations. What are we looking for? This role of E lectrical Supervisor (Appointed Person) is great for you if you: Have experience acting as LV Appointed persons. Electrician qualification to level 3 with SSSTS or SMSTS Strong knowledge and experience of the main management systems and processes usedwithin a similar sized business, including the role of an appointed person. Experience of managing the Electrical delivery of major projects including HV/LV power works, cabling and containment and switchgear, able to review functional design specifications and developing control philosophies, single line diagrams, Prodesign calculations, test and commissioning' We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome!
