Design and Technology Teacher Tradewind recruitment are working with a well respected secondary school based in Uxbridge, Hillingdon who are currently looking for a Design and Technology teacher. School are looking for someone to start ASAP on a long term contract until Easter or July 2025. School are willing to offer a permanent contract for the right person. This position is full time but school are open to part time applicants. Salary will match outer London MPS/UPS. School has available parking spaces. Key Aims of Design and Technology Teacher: Encourage creativity and innovation: Develop students' ability to generate original ideas and think creatively in response to real-world challenges. Foster problem-solving skills: Equip students with the tools to identify, analyse, and solve practical problems through design and technology. Promote sustainable thinking: Instil an awareness of the environmental impact of design choices, encouraging students to create sustainable and responsible solutions. Develop technical knowledge and practical skills: Provide hands-on experience with a range of materials, tools, and technologies to build competence in both traditional and modern design methods.
