This is a great opportunity for somebody looking to come off nights or to secure a new day shift opportunity. 4 on 4 off, 3 on 3 off Central London - Static - good links via rail and road Salary:£42,000 to £45,000 (DOE)Duties Carry out scheduled maintenance on key building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical equipment. Ensure compliance with company guidelines and industry standards Respond promptly to faults and breakdowns affecting building operations, including those involving critical infrastructure. Diagnose and repair equipment or system failures, minimizing downtime and ensuring safety. Maintain, repair, and test electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, and backup generators. Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, such as BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations). Oversee the maintenance of plumbing systems, water treatment, gas pipelines, and boiler operations. Ensure effective operation and monitoring of ventilation systems, air handling units (AHUs), and heat exchangers. Maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to provide a comfortable and safe environment for staff and service users. Ensure compliance with building standards and SFG 20 Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports for inspections and audits.
