Youth Support Worker - SEND Schools in Liverpool& Sefton Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Youth Support Worker to join SEND schools across Liverpool and Sefton. In this rewarding role, you will be supporting some of the city's most vulnerable students in a Teaching Assistant capacity , helping them overcome challenges and achieve their potential. You will be working closely with students with a wide range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health), and physical disabilities. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on young people's lives while gaining valuable experience in the SEND sector. Key Responsibilities: Support students in their learning and personal development. Assist teachers in creating and maintaining an inclusive and supportive classroom environment. Provide individual and small group support to students with various additional needs. Help with the development of social, emotional, and behavioural skills. Encourage student's independence and provide guidance in their academic and personal growth. Work alongside other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students. Requirements: Previous experience working with young people, particularly those with SEND, is desirable. A patient, empathetic approach to supporting vulnerable students. Comfortable working with a range of additional needs and adapting to different learning styles. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a cooperative team.
