Are you interested in supporting children who have challenging behaviour? Do you have experience working as a Secondary Teaching Assistant / Learning Mentor with young people who cannot attend mainstream school and have a background of behavioural challenges? Are you keen to make a difference to the lives of children and young people whilst building your experience and furthering your career in SEND/SEMH? Even if your experience is informal/voluntary, I want to hear from you! The children you will support will have various needs, including significant complex behaviour challenges and sometimes associated SEND. Experience of working with young people with SEND and/or Autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties and learning difficulties or experience with SEMH, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication.
