Our Shared Service Centre team (SSC) provides essential support to a number of teams across our firm. As well as assisting on large-scale operations, beyond the capacity of a core specialist team, they provide the unparalleled expertise we need to keep moving forward. You’ll be someone who is both comfortable working proactively and managing yourown tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO’s partners to help businesses effectively. You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with.
Joining BDO’s Award Winning Shared Service Centre (SSC) as an Assistant now means being part of an exciting period of growth and change in one of our key business units. We work across every part of BDO, specialising in services that impact every client and help create real value by doing them efficiently and effectively.
Every day, you’ll work with people who will help you build the skills you need to develop your career within business administration. Alongside training, you’ll have the opportunity to progress within the Shared Service Centre wherecareer development, people and culture are a key focus.
After a comprehensive induction and welcome to BDO you will follow with 12-weeks office-based training in a friendly, collaborative environment. You will be fully supported by managers and team members in helping you to succeed. Flexible working after initial induction and training period is an option.
After successful completion of your probationary period, you may be eligible to apply for fully or part funded professional qualifications on either an apprenticeship or an enhanced supported learning programme.
Some of the areas our business administration teams cover are:
Internal Support
We support central business areas such as HR, People Development, Learning and Development, Recruitment, Project Management, Procurement, Billing/Credit Control and MI/Data.
Client Onboarding
We conduct research, due diligence, and identitychecks on individuals and entities to ensure regulatory compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) policies. We also carry out conflicts of interest checks on both national and international clients.
