Job Description

We are recruiting a Project Manager for our client who is supplier of services to the utilities sector. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join the team and drive the successful delivery of a new and incredibly fast-paced project in the overhead power sector. Role Overview: As a Project Manager, you will take charge of overseeing and managing multiple utility projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. This role demands exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively manage cross-functional teams and liaise with key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: * Lead, manage, and coordinate all aspects of utility projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and completion. * Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. * Manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies. * Provide strong leadership to project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability. * Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring contingency plans are in place. * Ensure compliance with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies. * Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular reports to senior management and stakeholders. * Drive continuous improvement initiatives and best practices in project management processes. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Project Manager in the utilities or infrastructure sector. * Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct cross-functional teams. * Demonstrated experience managing fast-moving, high-impact projects within time and budget constraints. * Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. * Knowledge of industry regulations, safety protocols, and best practices. * Proficiency in project management software and tools.
