My client is a multi site organisation who are currently undergoing a large digital transformation and integration programme.    As a key Infrastructure Engineer there are a wide range of activities which will provide you with a variety of projects, across a number of technologies - Azure Cloud, Cyber Security, Networking, IAAS&PAAS and much, much, more. There’s lots going on with loads of opportunity to gain in-depth technical experience to enable you to progress your skills and your career - lots of opportunity to learn! The includes assisting in the implementation of new technologies, maintaining existing ones and acting as a support escalation whenrequired. The team are great. It’s a collaborative, inclusive culture where everyone has a voice. This is a one-year fixed term contract where the team meet at the Sittingbourne offices twice a week. Ideal Skills Required: 5+ years in a 3rd line/ Infrastructure Engineer IT support role.Manage and maintain Azure cloud platform infrastructure Network, DHCP/DNS, LAN/WAN, Firewalls, Switching and Wi-Fi. Experience of patch management, backup&recovery.   You will be experienced in varied infrastructure support and be used to dealing with external 3rd parties. As mentioned, the role will include broad ranging project work including new implementations, upgrades and root cause analysis. You will own key projects including the optimisation of cloud technologies, Microsoft Azure, and utilising more of the Azure toolset.
