Closing date:07 February 2025 A fantastic opportunity has come up to join the Safer Hull Team as a Partnership Delivery Assistant. Safer Hull are a small team, based in Hull Council that drives the delivery of Hulls Community Safety Partnership. The work undertaken by the Safer Hull team is largely project and partnership based, working to prevent and respond to a range of community safety issues across this city.  Examples of work the team carries out includes Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB), Serious and Organised Crime, counter-terrorism and serious violence. The post-holder will be regularly working with Police, Fire& rescue, Health and Probation services as well as community organisations and other council departments. The work we do as a team is interesting, challenging and rewarding and the postholder will be fundamental in supporting the team to drive this work forward over the delivery period of the next Community Safety Partnership plan.  The Partnership Delivery Assistant will provide clerical and administrative support to the Safer Hull team and the city-wide tasking partnership. The postholder will provide an efficient, responsive, high quality technical and general clerical service to staff. Duties will also include supporting the Partnership Delivery Manager with preparing financial returns and organising, arranging, and minuting relevant sub-groups under the Community Safety Partnership. You will have achieved a good standard of education, clerical experience, computer literacy and have excellent communication and customer care skills. A flexible and positive approach together with the ability to adapt to a changing environment is essential. Enthusiasm and commitment are important to provide a quality service where teamwork plays a vital role. Experience of Microsoft Office and Teams would be advantageous. The role is full time, and the base is Hull Councils Witham Office. The post supports hybrid working.
