Salary: Up to£50k (negotiable&depending on experience) Overtime paid at time and a half. Location: Rickmansworth, Herts WD3. Schedule: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:00pm - Friday 7:30am to 1:00pm. Due to the expansion of their Grinding Department, they are seeking an experienced Precision Grinder / Team Leader to join their busy and expanding engineering team on a permanent basis. About The Role: Leading the Grinding team with Setting and Operating Cylindrical and Surface Grinders, and other equipment within our busy Grinding department. Candidate Requirements: * CNC Grinding (Studer (Fanuc) / Jones&Shipman) programming&setting experience an advantage. * Manual Cylindrical and Surface Grinding including internal and external grinding. * A good understanding of engineering drawings. * Experience of leading a small team and advantage. * Ability and knowledge of grinding complex parts to tight tolerances. * Able to use various types of measuring equipment. * Ability to work with the minimum of supervision. * Experience of small / medium size batch work an advantage. * Previous experience of working in a similar sub contract manufacturing environment. * Good communication skills at all levels.
