FINTEC recruit is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to work for our prestigious engineering client based in Fort William. This role will concentrate of power and hydro, there will be further training and development to enhance technical skills and professional growth.  This is a permanent role with salary in the range of £28,00 to £35,000.  Working within multidiscipline engineering teams for project delivery.  You will be supporting initiatives aimed at improving the environmental performance and sustainability of power and hydro systems with a heavy steelworks manufacturing facility/plant. Responsibilities: •    Assist in planning, design and execution of civil engineering projects relating to power and hydro infrastructure •    Carry out inspections of a hydro scheme structures, including dams, smelter and power station buildings and structural steelwork •    Preparing technical reports, project specifications and construction drawings in compliance with industry standards and regulations •    Monitor construction activities ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards and quality requirements •    Able to identify and resolve technical issues that may arise during project execution, provide innovate and cost effective solutions Skills andExperience required for the Graduate Civil Engineer role: •    Degree qualified – civil engineering •    Able to prepare technical reports, project specifications and construction drawing •     Good problem solving skills Full details available for the Graduate Civil Engineer role on application.
