You will be part of a diverse multi skilled process and assemble maintenance team, working on equipment used in surface finish, heat treatment, Non Destructive Testing (NDT), paint&OE Assembly.You'll have opportunities to learn and progress, with investment being made on site it's an exciting time to join our growing local team. Mandatory:• Time served engineering maintenance apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3) • Must be able to read mechanical drawings including assembly and schematics. • Ability to work as part of a team and work independently. • Ability to demonstrate fault finding skills/abilities. • Fabrication and fitting skills (Core bench-fitting skills necessary). • Experience using a CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System). • Be able to work safely and adhere to HS&E standards and policies.Preferred: • Suitable experience working with furnaces, NDT equipment or surface finish equipment • Electrical experience/qualification. • HNC in mechanical engineering. • Knowledge of lean, 5s&6 sigma methodologies.
