PERMANENT SALARY£25,500 DAYS - 7am to 3pm Monday to Friday Our client is a small arm of a multi national company, very well run for over 200 years, with an outstanding reputation for quality, giving an assurance and solidity for all employees. The role of the general operator will be to assist in the manufacturing team. You will be working in a small team, and be involved in many different tasks, so the ideal production operator will need to be flexible and willing to learn. The ideal general operator will have a background in a manufacturing or production environment, you will be working with small handtools, drills, sanders and some basic machine work. An added advantage for the successful production operator will be using verniers or micrometers, be able to read basic drawings, this is a technical role and is not just a picker or packer. The role is contracted to be shift work, 6am to 2pm/2pmto 10pm - which you will need to do if asked, but generally the hours are... 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday.
