Financial Controller Our client is a dynamic technology business seeking to recruit a Financial Controller. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day financial operations, provide insightful analysis to support decision-making, and add value across the business. Responsibilities and Duties Reporting to the company’s directors, the ideal candidate will be responsible for ● Ensuring that the financial performance is monitored and controlled in a fit for purpose manner in line with stakeholder requirements ● Ensuring the day to day transactional processing is carried out in a timely and accurate manner. ●Ensuring a fit for purpose control environment for the company is in place at all times. ● Be responsible for adherence to and maintenance of standards and processes. Be responsible for the daily management of cash. ● Preparation of monthly management accounts/information ● Be the focal pointfor liaison with external advisors. ● Management of the office Qualifications and Skills The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria ● ACA, ACCA, ACMA. QBE Wide range of experience and understanding of the finance and control environment of a growing SME ● . Strong, up to date technical knowledge ● Strong computer literacy; experience in use, development, and modelling of spreadsheet applications. ● Knowledge of Sage ● Self-motivated and able to work proactively and productively within a small team. ● Able to demonstrate confident communication skills. ● Strong organisational skills, logical approach and attention to detail. ● A flexible approach to work.
