KennedyPearce are hiring a Finance Analyst- IT/Capex focused. This role is hybrid working on a 12 month FTC, working 3 days in the office. We are looking for immediate candidates with cost focused experience. Key Responsibilities: Manage the IT recoveries process , ensuring accurate allocation of resource costs to projects on a monthly basis Administer the quarterly recharge of IT management costs to capital projects Lead the month-end reporting for IT contracts, including accruals, prepayments, journal postings, and reconciliations Track actual spend vs. budget, identify variances, and highlight risks and opportunities to the IT Business Partner Support the IT Business Partner with budgeting and forecasting for BAU IT contract costs and project spend, with detailed analysis of changes Ensure accurate accounting for IT projects, including correct divisional reporting and variance analysis Provide ad hoc analysis and financial support to the wider IT team as needed Deliver detailed analysis of TSA (Transitional Services Agreement) IT charges , ensuring accuracy and timely invoicing Maintain accurate ledger entries and updates for TSA-related costs, adjusting as contracts evolve Key Skills& Qualifications: Part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA or equivalent) Strong experience in month-end processes , including accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations Proven ability to work cross-functionally, especially with non-finance stakeholders Highly numerate with a strong analytical mindset Experience with project and SaaS accounting is a plus Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, data modelling) Organised, flexible, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
