A leading Jewish Charity is looking for a Family Support Worker to support the wellbeing of the carer& x2019 s of survivors of the Holocaust This is a highly unique and interesting role and would be a fantastic opportunity for someone with Counselling and Grief qualifications This role is a 3 day a week the applicant can choose what days they work on 9-5 hours paying 19 500 per annum You must have a Clean UK Driving License and access to a vehicle to apply Your Key Duties will be to Travelling to visit carer s to offer emotional and practical support Increase their networks and peer groups so they feel adequately supported externally Providing emotional and practical support for family carers Support those family members who are affected by their family members experience and suffer from intergenerational trauma Run group meetings support groups and training and wellbeing sessions Signposting all available resources support and provisions Respond to incoming enquiries from new members and their Carer& x2019 s To liaise with different departments where needed and use correct pathways for referrals The Family Support Worker must have the following Full UK Driving License and Vehicle & x2013 to travel to visits and groups Experience working in Social Care with families and or dementia and Carer& x2019 s Qualification in Counselling Understanding of the Jewish Community the Holocaust and the effects on survivors and next generation family m
