Principal Accountabilities: (These accountabilities are not exhaustive and represent examples of the work performed by this position only) * Fabricate and weld products according to company specifications. * Assemble various products as per job instructions, directions from the Supervisor, and Customer Sales Orders. * Carry out necessary checks and quality assurance of products as per specifications. * Operate hand and machine tools and welding equipment. * Join structures and assemble parts through welding, bolting, or riveting. * Maintain equipment in a safe, clean, and good working order. * Communicate with the Supervisor regarding any parts/fabrication discrepancies that need immediate rectification. * Clock each job in and out using the Lawson M3 computer system. * Maintain stock levels on shelves as directed by the Supervisor. * Keep the workshop area, including the floor, clean and tidy and in a safe working condition. * Ensure compliance with OH&S, company policies, and legislation. * Perform other duties as required from time to time as requested. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience: * Fabrication experience or relevant qualifications. * Physically fit to perform the physical requirements of the role (yearly physical exam may apply). * Ability to read drawings, job specifications, and instructions. * Competent computer skills. * Good interpersonal and organizational skills. * Highly motivated.
