Must be a qualified and experienced Assessor of Engineering.  Must hold own NVQ Level 3 or above within an Engineering discipline (e.g. Mechanical; Electrical; Automotive etc.) Must hold solid occupational experience as a Vehicle Mechanic; Workshop Supervisor or within Marine Engineering. Must possess a sound understanding of internal and external verification standards. Minimum Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE / Functional Skills / equivalent).  Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.Role duties; Quality Assure across a range of Engineering Apprenticeships, achieving sustained high performance, quality of delivery and learner journey, in line with our client's standards across their Apprenticeship provision Carry out regular observations of activity, share best practice and provide guidance and support to a team of Assessors Ensure the quality of teaching and learning meets the quality assurance strategy and awarding body/ EPA / Ofsted requirements. Support achieving consistency of delivery through Standardisation activities Drive and implement continuous quality improvement.
